2 x 2016 Reserve Riesling

$40.00
This is our second Reserve Riesling and is made from fruit from selected rows in Block 8 on the south-western aspect of the lake at Avon Brae. It is pale straw yellow showing a lifted, perfumed floral nose with hints of lavender. Steely minerality on the palate with more lemon than lime. A tight, single-minded classic Eden Valley Rizza of impeccable pedigree smugly basking in its understated nobility. Savour now or cellar with confidence for longer than you might care to!

2 x 2015 Block 3 Cabernet Sauvignon

$45.00
The 2015 Eden Hall Cabernet Sauvignon comes from selected rows in Block 3 and spent 17 months in French Oak followed by more than a year in bottle prior to release. It is deep crimson in colour opening with capsicum, mint and lead pencil on the nose followed by generous cassis and black cherry on the palate. A ponderous, complex wine with dusty tannins that add length and hold the drinker's attention. Enjoy now and beyond 2033.

2005 Shiraz

$40.00
The 2005 vintage was characterised by a warm autumn that led to an early harvest of above average yields. There is no doubting the impeccable quality of the 2005 vintage, surely rated second only to the iconic 2002, in which the cornerstone varietals for Eden Valley, Riesling and Shiraz, achieved near perfect fruit ripeness. The 2005 Shiraz is crimson purple, with an enticing nose of pencil lead, bacon, grilled meat and blueberry. Layered, ripe and full-bodied, this tasty Shiraz manages some restraint in its complex personality. Give it 3-5 years in the cellar and drink it through 2020.

2016 Grüner Veltliner

$35.00
We are proud to present our second Grüner Veltliner from vines growing blissfully alongside their natural soulmate, Riesling (and showing some similar characters). Rich golden yellow in colour with an intriguing floral nose of blossom and stone fruit. The palate is rich and broad offering nectarine and white peach with back notes of citrus and grapefruit. A beautifully textural wine yet a pure, clean, mineral finish. Chill and drink now and leave us to hold back some museum stock to see how it evolves over the next decade.
