Five Stars again!

We are very gratified with James Halliday’s ongoing support for the Australian wine industry in general, and in particular for the Eden Hall brand. Fingers crossed that next year we can regain the 5 Crimson stars that we previously achieved in 2008. “The Riesling, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon are all excellent, the red wines outstanding”

Eden Hall Riesling 2010 – 5 stars

“glowing green – quartz: the powerful complex bouquet and rich multi-layered lime juice palate are striking, suggesting something other than conventional methods have been used in the winery”

Screw cap – 12.25% alc – Rating 93 – to 2020 – RRP $20

Eden Hall Shiraz 2009 – 5 stars“deep colour, crimson-purple; a full bodied wine with layer upon layer of black fruit supported by ripe tannins and totally integrated oak; carries its alcohol well thanks to a savoury earthy touch emerging on the finish.”

Screw cap – 15% alc – Rating 95 – to 2030 – RRP $40

Eden Hall Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 – 5 stars

“strong crimson-purple; a full bodied single vineyard Cabernet with exemplary varietal expression: blackcurrant fruit is complexed by earthy tannins that will underwrite the development of the wine before softening as the flavours reach their peak”

Screw cap – 15% alc – Rating 94 – to 2025 – RRP $40.00
